Hope everyone had a great New Year's celebration! We had a couple friends over last night and Sweetpea played with her friend Ty. They had so much fun chasing each other around the house! They ended up going to bed around 9:30, and we stayed up until 1! That's the latest we've stayed up for New Year's in a long time. I'm sure bedtime will be much earlier tonight!

We had a great Christmas, too. Sweetpea got tons of stuff that is all over the living room now - but she's having a blast playing with it all. She's been talking a lot more lately and using sentences more. When I picked her up from school this week she kept saying "where my socks?" because they were stuffed inside her shoes and she couldn't see them. It was very cute. On the way home from Christmas she also kept playing peek-a-boo with me. I'd hide and she'd say "where's mommy?"
Daddy's been trying to teach her how to do the "M-I-Z -Z-O-U" cheer and she's been doing a pretty good job with the M-I-Z part. I tried to video tape it, but she wouldn't keep doing it of course. If you listen at the very beginning you can kind of hear her say it, but that's the best I could get!

Emma sure looks like she is enjoying that book! That is a great picture of her face! Also we could hear the MIZ--I think she was saying a lot here too, but she says it so quietly that sometimes we miss what she is saying to us. I bet she enjoys that laundry basket as much as her new toys!!
Beautiful picture of Emma - knew she would be a reader! On second thought- perhaps a cheer leader. Maybe both!!!Happy 2010 to all of you.
