Dad's Hat

Sweetpea had a good day today. She played with her friend Noah this morning - they are getting really cute together because they try to hold each other's hands! Then we went and signed up for swimming lessons in November - very excited about that! When dad came home he played with Emma and dressed her up in one of his hats. As you can see, at first she really was enjoying this, but then decided that she didn't really like dress up.

Manic Monday!

Today started out really well. Sweetpea slept until 6 and then took a nap at 8, but after she woke up from that it seemed like she just wasn't happy anymore. I think those teeth are trying to poke through because her drool has been increasing the last couple days. Here's a picture of her playing with one of her new toys from our garage saleing this past weekend. She's getting really good at sitting up! I'm not sure I'm ready for her to start crawling, but I think it's coming soon.

Today was a busy day for Sweetpea! It started out with some garage saleing with mommy. We had fun and found lots of winter clothes and toys! Then we went to the fine arts fair downtown with dad. It was really hot, but there were a lot of cool things to look at. Mom forgot her camera or else you would get a pic of Sweetpea downtown in her sunglasses! Sorry. But, then we decided to go out to eat for dinner and so mom got a couple shots at the restaurant - enjoy them! We ended the day with a nice bath and she really enjoyed playing in the water - I think she's definitely going to be a waterbug!

Welcome to this blog!

I want to use this blog as a way to showcase my sweetpea. This is my husband and I's first child and she has been a true blessing for us. Every day she does something precious, so I am using this blog as a way to share those special moments with others. She is 5 1/2 months and getting stronger everyday - look at how high she is lifting herself up now!
